Gaining Members - 4/1/24

The search for edits to make to the planning documents before final submissions to the Texas State Department is a crucial step in the process of getting the organization approved. However, another portion of the process is ensuring that the organization will have a viable way to attract members that will allow it to achieve its mission.

Therefore, there also needs to be a publicly accessible way for people to learn about the organization. This is why another part of my final product is not only creating the organization but also a website that lists the objectives and instructions on how to become a volunteer.

The website would need to educate the members on the basis of my research regarding interacting with geriatric individuals, and it would also give them a step-by-step guide on how to apply to volunteer at real assisted living facilities. In addition to this, they would be informed on what sorts of expectations and tasks they should become accustomed to.

However, the website would act as a device for those who are already interested in the organization. In order to gain traction from new visitors, the organization would also need some forms of social media to carry its message and extend its reach to more potential members. Therefore, that is the next course of action.
